Oodalolly! It has been a very long couple of weeks. There was the Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus holiday tailed by the New Year Holiday and now all of a sudden its 2014!
So, first off the bat—Happy New Year to all my dear readers near and far! 2013 was the most eventful year of my life so far. I
packed up my life in Chattanooga and
moved to Phoenix for over a month of intense
flight attendant training, then
settled in Charlotte, NC! Since then I've been all over the world, seen and done things I'd never imagined and made memories I'll treasure for the rest of my days.
Thank you all so much for being a part of this journey. I know for a fact I couldn't have made it without your support!
And now, without further ado, here's my weekly crop of Winged Whimsy Weekly (aka W^3):

There is a store in North Gate Mall in Hixson TN dedicated entirely to vintage video games and has an arcade. Super awesome! |
I had to get new glasses/contacts. This time I spent the extra cash on the extended wear contacts and boy, oh boy are they worth it! No more scratchy eyes for me! |
I tried pink hair for an evening. Channeling my inner Gaga....or something. |
the First Officer had the right idea about keeping the cold out on one of my recent trips. |
Denver, CO. BRRRR! But they had SNOW, which is more than this Southern gal can say she's seen all year. |
If you know anything about my sense of humor, this was greatly amusing. Seattle, WA. |
The coolest sushi restaurant I've ever been to. Blue C Sushi. Everything the chef's make fresh is put on a conveyer belt and is color-coded by price. You grab what you want, pay for it and stuff your face. No muss, no fuss. |
Merry Christmas from downtown Minneapolis! |
A very lovely view of Mt. Rainier which I captured from my galley window at 14,000 feet. |
So it's 1 am, and you just got to the hotel after a long day of flying. What do you and your flight crew do? Have a snowball fight of course! |
New Years Eve Party in Charlotte. The theme was Back To The Future with all kinds of 80's and 90's music. It was awesome. |
On New Years morning, Darcy cooked breakfast for me and my roommates. Bacon and french toast with fresh fruit and all the fixins. He wins the best boyfriend award by far. |
From left to right, Darcy, me, Ursula, Belle and our friend Connor before we went out for New Years! |
